A participle is a verb (action word) that has been used as an adjective (descriptive word). For example, in the phrase "running water", the word "running" is the participle and "water" is the noun that it describes.
So what is a dangling participle? Without careful attention, the noun that a participle describes can be unclear. For example:
"Dave left the water running."
While most of us would interpret this sentence to mean that Dave left the faucet on, it could also describe Dave exiting a swimming pool in a hurry. In this case, the participle "running" is dangling — it could be describing either the water or Dave.
Dangling participles are a common occurrence and can be fixed by carefully structuring your sentences.

A key aspect of any occupational health and safety program is the proper identification of any hazards that exist at the workplace, and the associated risk of injury or illness if a worker is exposed to the hazard. Hazards are identified by implementing a hazard identification program involving the following steps:
Identify hazards and their potential to cause harm
Evaluate the risk associated with identified hazards
Determine ways to eliminate or minimize the hazard

Prototyping and working solutions vs. comprehensive documentation
Computer programming is the process of designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining the source code of computer programs. The purpose of programming is to create a set of instructions that computers use to perform specific operations or to exhibit desired behaviours. At the most fundamental level, computers speak in a language of 1s and 0s called binary. This is where programming languages come in to play — they allow us to write instructions that can be translated into binary for the computer to execute.
There are several techniques for drawing three dimensional subjects on a flat surface. They all involve the use of vanishing points to convey a sense that part of the drawing is closer to you than another part. In general, lines in the drawing point toward the vanishing point. Objects far from a vanishing point are drawn larger than those close to a vanishing point. Depending on your composition, you can use one, two, three, or even four vanishing points to achieve perspective in your drawing.
