Course Description

Reinforce your knowledge of the basic grammatical structures and learn how to talk about past events. Continue to build vocabulary and improve your listening and speaking skills.

Course Details

By completion of this course, successful students will be able to:

  • Talk about past events using the preterit

  • Use vocabulary related to checking in at a hotel and asking about accommodations and tourism

  • Apply indirect object pronouns to describe to whom or for whom an action is done, and know how to use direct and indirect object pronouns together

  • Make constructions with gustar and time expressions with hacer

  • Use vocabulary related to banking, running errands, pets and flowers

  • Form adverbs and apply prepositions por and para

Prerequisites

SPA 102 Spanish 2 or equivalent level of fluency as determined by the department.
