Course Description

You will be introduced to the fundamentals of managing and administering SQL servers and databases. Topics include SQL Server installation and configuration, server and data security, backup/restore and server automation.


Course Details

Microsoft's SQL Server is an enterprise-class Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) being used by organizations worldwide and is the information backbone for thousands of enterprise class software applications. Mastering the SQL Server platform involves the understanding of both database programming and administration.

This course is designed for those who want to develop fundamental and intermediate skills in administering an SQL Server system and its Business Intelligence features. The instructor will assume you know the basics on how to query an SQL Server and have some fundamental concepts of an SQL Server.

This is an Online Hybrid course with Online Synchronous Sessions held online in real time (Mountain Time) using Zoom web conferencing software. To fully participate in the classes, students will need: an internet connection, and a reliable headset with microphone.

Unless notified, all online courses are available at 9 am MT the day before the start date. Students registering on (or after) the start date will receive access within one day of registration.
