Course Description

Improved understanding of human behaviour in organizations enhances your effectiveness and influences the development and operation of your workplace. Topics include: your behaviour and its impact on others, mentoring, culture, structure, the decision-making process, employee relations, productivity, and ethical issues.

Course Details

By completion of this course, successful students will be able to:

  • Analyze your workplace behaviour and the effect it has on your relationships in the workplace
  • Explore the impact human behaviour has on organizational culture
  • Apply motivational strategies to increase productivity in the workplace
  • Use current and widely adopted negotiation tools and strategies to prevent conflict in the workplace
  • Use industry benchmarks, professional standards, organizational tools, and different tailored measures to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Describe the benefits of diversity and its positive impact on performance
  • Examine behavioural differences in the workplace through exploration of personality, perception, values, and attitudes
