As we move to more remote and hybrid team environments, there is an increasing demand for virtual presentations to engage, impact, and effectively influence their audiences.

Effectively using technological tools and Artificial intelligence (AI) to plan, prepare and organize virtual presentations is an art. Workplace professionals who can skilfully deploy these tools have a competitive advantage.

  • The aim of this session is to unpack strategies that help professionals design, prepare and deliver impactful virtual presentations using technological tools and AI.
  • Identify and categorize various types of virtual presentations commonly observed in professional workplace settings
  • Examine technological and Artificial intelligence (AI) tools that can be used to plan, prepare, organize and deliver engaging presentations
  • Discuss the importance of adapting and organizing content for virtual presentations and how to use visual aids and multimedia content to engage your audience

This course uses:

  • Desire2Learn (D2L), an online learning management system. The instructor will post the course outline and other materials in D2L.
  • Zoom web conferencing software.

To fully participate in the live sessions, students will need: an internet connection, and a reliable headset with microphone.

Unless notified, all online courses are available at 9 am MT the day before the start date. Students registering on (or after) the start date will receive access within one day of registration.
