This program equips you with the fundamental knowledge of applied data science, the analytics process, analytics problem framing, data preparation, visualization, and predictive modelling. It consists of two 45-hour courses designed with comprehensive lab activities and hands-on mini projects with focus on business use cases for data visualization and machine learning. You will receive a certificate of completion upon successful fulfilment of the requirements.

Courses in this program are delivered online. Courses are scheduled at convenient times, allowing you to complete the program at a pace that fits your life.
You should plan on studying and working approximately 15-20 hours per week per course.

2 Courses, 90 Hours
All Continuing Education programs are developed with part-time learners in mind. Machine Learning and Visualization is a 90-hour program.
The length of time it takes to complete this program varies by student. If you take both courses in one term, you will complete the program in three months.

You do not require a degree or diploma to apply for admission to this program.
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Grade 12 diploma (recommended)
- Relevant work experience (recommended)
- If English is not your first language, you must meet the English language proficiency requirements
Recommended prerequisites:
- A minimum of six months experience in python programming

Students will be automatically admitted when they register for the course DAT 110 Data Analytics and Visualization for Business.
