This award supports equitable and inclusive participation in lifelong learning opportunities for equity-deserving groups, including, but not limited to, women, Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), persons with disabilities, members of a racialized groups, and members of LGBTQ2S+ communities.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Have registered in a course connected to a Continuing Education program (e.g., professional certificate, professional diploma, certificate of completion, digital badge).
  • Preference for self-identified equity-deserving individuals, including, but not limited to, women, Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Inuit and Métis), persons with disabilities, members of a racialized groups, and members of LGBTQ2S+ communities. The application will request information regarding self-identification.
