Laura Cooke is a Senior Change Management and Leadership Development professional. Her background in learning and development focused on designing custom learning programs to meet the specific needs of her clients. Laura went on to become Prosci certified and started her Change Management practice where she has worked on complex programs at many different organizations including those in the Energy, Post Secondary, Agriculture and Utilities sectors. Her interest in Leadership development began early in her career and she was able to lead large scale projects implementing employee engagement, performance management, and leadership development initiatives. She has always been a fan of Brené Brown and took a Daring Way seminar that first introduced her to the research. When Dare To LeadTM came out, Laura was thrilled to have the concepts of shame, vulnerability, courage and trust introduced against a leadership lens. She was one of the fortunate few selected to train with Brené Brown in San Antonio Texas and is a Certified Dare To LeadTM Facilitator. Creating courageous cultures and ensuring authentic connection in the workplace is her passion. Laura was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and is a University of Calgary Alumni.
