Course Description

With little or no experience in Spanish, you are welcome in our interactive classes that focus on speaking the language. Saying basic phrases, pronouncing words correctly, asking questions and telling time are covered. There will be an introduction to articles, adjectives, pronouns and verbs in the present tense.

Course Details

By completion of this course, successful students will be able to:

  • Introduce yourself and use greetings and farewells
  • Talk about dates and days of the week
  • Use classroom expressions
  • Ask useful questions and give answers
  • Use polite expressions
  • Describe people and activities
  • Conjugate verbs in the present tense and present progressive tense
  • Use the expression Ir + a to express future actions
