Course Description

Workforce planning is critical to all organizations. Human resource professionals work collaboratively with senior and front line leaders to provide input into hiring skilled employees in alignment with their organizational strategy. Master the essentials of forecasting and analyzing employee pools to strengthen the productivity and effectiveness of teams.

Course Details

By completion of this course, successful students will be able to:

  • Analyze talent management pools using at least two of the following elements: industry benchmarks, professional standards, organizational tools, and different tailored measures
  • Use different workforce planning models to forecast company needs for diverse workforce teams
  • Execute a needs assessment to identify gaps in employee pools as per local and national benchmark reports
  • Describe strategic decision-making tools to share with hiring managers based on industry standards and professional discipline benchmarks
