Rick Volpel is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Continuous Improvement. Following a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Alberta, Rick began his career as a Radiation Therapy Technologist which eventually led to a number of progressive leadership roles in a provincial health agency. Along the way he also earned a Masters degree in Administration from the University of Central Michigan where his major project focused on improving the diagnostic yield of biopsy techniques which led to changes in local biopsy techniques.
