Course Description

This is an introductory course in spoken and written Korean. Course includes dialogues, grammatical explanations and vocabulary building exercises and uses the Hanguel alphabet.

Course Details

The course begins with learning the Korean alphabet (Hangeul) and goes on to develop basic communication skills through various units such as Greetings, Food, Shopping, Directions, and Family. The course focuses on helping students attain proficiency in all four language skill areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Attention is given to grammatical explanations and vocabulary building exercises. You will also be introduced to the basics of Korean culture.
