Course Description

Learn the interview process and examine various effective interviewing techniques. Practice interviewing and preparing for an interview. Develop methods for tracking and evaluating interview responses. The emphasis is on practical application for Human Resource professionals and line managers.

By completion of this course, successful students will be able to:

  1. Recognize the process of effective interviewing
  2. Prepare interviews for various job roles
  3. Apply skills and techniques that improve the effectiveness of employment interviews and reference checks

  • Desire2Learn (D2L), an online learning management system. The instructor will post the course outline and other materials in D2L.
  • Zoom web conferencing software.

To fully participate in the live sessions, students will need: an internet connection, and a reliable headset with microphone.
