Course Description
The Foundations of Effective Leadership assessment is a workplace-anchored, integrative study where learners identify a real leadership challenge and demonstrate how they would address it using core people-leadership practices combined with business and organizational understanding.
Course Details
Learners complete an applied assessment that weaves together their knowledge and understanding of Business Essentials and Leadership Essentials. The assessment demonstrates the learner’s ability to apply core leadership capabilities and business fundamentals to a real‑world organizational challenge, exercising sound judgment, self‑awareness, and impact‑oriented decision‑making.
Learners may select a current organizational challenge, opportunity, or decision drawn from their professional context that requires both leadership effectiveness and business acumen. Alternatively, learners may select a project or initiative that has already occurred and develop a case study that analyzes outcomes, identifies lessons learned, and articulates how those insights can be intentionally applied moving forward.
