Course Description

Acquire insights into the practical application of human resource (HR) metrics.  Analyzing metrics that give insight into key performance indicators is crucial in the tracking and measurement of human capital. This informs talent strategy and influences important business decisions.

Explore how the measurement of data related to issues such as turnover, cost-per-hire, and benefits participation rate can have a powerful impact on business decisions by identifying trends that positively shape future strategies.

Course Details

By the completion of this course, successful students will be able to:

  • Identify HR Metrics that align with the business strategies set by an organization
  • Identify the right metrics for the right set of managers or stakeholders
  • Create a toolbox of practical resources and templates applicable to HR metrics and measurements for a variety of HR functions
  • Illustrate the practical application of HR metrics and measurements starting from the process of assessing metrics, and finishing with the communication of findings and insights to stakeholders
  • Analyze HR measurement strategies and tools to support the organization's objectives and goals
