Gain a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity and cloud security by enrolling in the Cyber and Cloud Security Professional micro-credential program, which prepares you for both the ISC2 CISSP® and CCSP® certifications.
You will learn about the eight domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) and six domains of the CCSP CBK®. Throughout the program, you will review key concepts, refresh your knowledge, and identify areas to focus on for the CISSP® and CCSP® certification exams.
By completion of this program, successful students will be able to:
- Describe key concepts and principles in information security, including cryptography, network security, access control models, the OSI model, and the relationship between organizational security goals and operational security functions
- Explain security design principles, standards, and frameworks used to implement security controls that protect organizational assets, operating systems, networks, and applications throughout their lifecycle
- Describe risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and test/audit strategies within IT systems, including physical security controls, to optimize an organization’s security posture and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA)
- Explain cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), key cloud terminology, legal frameworks, data privacy regulations, and operational controls necessary for secure and compliant cloud services
- Explain secure cloud architectures by identifying cloud-specific vulnerabilities, infrastructure security controls, and compliance with data privacy and legal requirements
- Explain cloud security management strategies, including risk management, security operations, and cloud migration planning, to balance operational efficiency with security and compliance.

Online
Courses in this program are delivered online and in class. Courses are scheduled at convenient times, allowing you to complete the program at a pace that fits your life.
You should plan on studying and working approximately 8 hours per week per course.
Online learning fits into busy schedules by taking the learning experience out of the traditional classroom. Students have online access to instructors, fellow learners, and learning materials.

2 Courses, 70 Hours
All Continuing Education programs are developed with part-time learners in mind. Cyber and Cloud Security Professional is a 70-hour program.
The length of time it takes to complete this program varies by student. If you take one course per term (four courses a year), you will likely complete the program in 12 months.

The approximate cost to complete Cyber and Cloud Security Professional is $6,998.
You do not require a degree or diploma to apply for admission to this program.
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Grade 12 diploma (recommended)
- Relevant work experience (recommended)
- If English is not your first language, you must meet the English language proficiency requirements
Students will be automatically admitted when they register for either course (CSC 260 or CSC 270).
Prior learning from other post-secondary institutions
Advanced standing may be granted for equivalent, graded courses completed at other post-secondary institutions. Credit may be granted up to a maximum of 35 hours towards this program.
