How to register in the Calgary International Summer Program

Review course options

We have several course options under each subject area. During the registration process, you will be asked to select the top choices in your chosen subject. We try to run all courses students have selected as their top choices, but in cases of low enrolment, some courses may not run. If this happens we will contact you to transfer to available courses, or provide you with a full refund.

Have your documents ready

Have one of the following documents (in PDF or JPEG format) ready before you apply:

Your official English language proficiency test results
An official document to show you have attended an English-speaking institution
UCalgary transcript to show completion of an applicable program
If you are student from our partner University, your University can verify your English ability. No document upload is required.

Register

Select your stream:
Expand the term you want to select, then click Add to Cart.
Click Checkout.
Select Full payment or Deposit, and click Checkout.
Create your account and fill out your information.
Fill out the application.
Select payment.

Note: If you have chosen to pay using other payment methods, please contact us at esl@ucalgary.ca to arrange your payment.

Letter of Acceptance

Once your minimum payment has been received and your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be sent a letter of acceptance for your program of studies. Your letter of acceptance is required to apply for a study permit.

Pay your remaining balance

If you paid a deposit for a term of study, you will need to pay the full remaining balance at least two weeks before the term begins.
