TI 0769 - UDL and Inclusive D2L Course Design
Course Description
The Universal design for learning (UDL) framework was designed to make learning inclusive and transformative for everyone. It emphasizes flexibility in how students are engaged in their learning, how instructional material is presented, and how students demonstrate their knowledge and skills. This workshop explores how the UDL framework can be used in your D2L course design to create an inclusive course where your learners can thrive and be successful.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- explain the three principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) 3.0,
- recognize how the UDL principles can be applied to in-person and online course design,
- identify UDL instructional methods to implement in your courses.
Please note: Registration will close 2 business days before each workshop. Participants will receive relevant Zoom information via email at least 1 hour before the designated start time.
