IPP 430 - Occupational Health and Safety - Term 3
Course Description
The Continuing Education International Professional Program Occupational Health and Safety stream is made up of three four-month terms of study. Each term has a separate program course number. Students must take the IPP terms in order from 1 to 3.
- Term 1 - IPP 230
- Term 2 - IPP 330
- Term 3 - IPP 430
Letter of Acceptance
A letter of acceptance will be issued upon:
- Registration in IPP 230, IPP 330, IPP 430 (deposit payments required).
- Satisfactory completion of the CE Professional Program for International Students Application (application fee required).
International Program Policies apply to IPP withdrawals, transfers and refunds.
Course Details
In Term 3 of the Occupational Health and Safety stream students will take the following courses:
- BMC 197 Occupational Hygiene: The Basics
- BMC 317 Regulations, Roles, and Responsibilities for HSE Professionals
- BMC 363 BMC 363 Alcohol and Drugs in the Workplace
- BMC 350 BMC 350 Stress and Fatigue Management
- BMC 359 Change Strategy and Planning
- BMC 360 Managing Change Implementation
- BMC 361 Evaluating and Sustaining Change
Changes to the course offerings will be noted under section notes.
Prerequisites
- Must have completed the courses in IPP 230 (Term 1) and IPP 330 (Term 2).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma (minimum 2 years in length) from a college or university.
- Must meet the Continuing Education English Proficiency Requirements.
