Main Campus
The University of Calgary main campus is located at 2500 University Drive NW.
After registering in this course, the building and room number will be posted in your account and on your receipt. Please check for room changes within 24 hours of the class starting.
Online Synchronous courses are hosted using Zoom or Microsoft Teams videoconferencing software. Classes are held online in real time, at specified times and dates. Please note that times are provided in Mountain Time (MT).
While participating in a Zoom class, students can interact directly with their instructor and classmates through live conversation, text chat, and screen sharing.
A blended course means that some classes are taught in a classroom and some classes are taught online in either a synchronous or asynchronous manner. The majority of blended courses have scheduled start- and end-dates, and students are expected to engage fully in their studies whether in class or online.
Instructor-led, with no scheduled live videoconferencing
Your course will be delivered using Desire2Learn (D2L), the University of Calgary learning management system. Unlike correspondence or self-paced courses, asynchronous courses are instructor-led and require regular student participation throughout. There are learning activities and assignments included in each D2L course that would fall under instruction.
It will be used for your registration in UCalgary non-credit events, conferences and courses.
