Study Permit Holders
Information for IPP applicants who hold valid study permits prior to enrolment.
The International Professional Programs (IPP) often fill up very quickly. If a program is full for a specific term, you will not be able to apply regardless of whether you hold a valid study permit in Canada or not.
If your desired International Professional Program is still available for registration, a valid study permit holder in Canada must apply a minimum of 7 weeks prior to the Term 1 start dates. For example, for a September intake, applicants are expected to apply by second week of July.
If you apply less than 7 weeks prior to the Term 1 start date, your application may not be processed in time for the start of Term 1, and the term deposits you have submitted will be non-refundable. Consequently, if you are still interested in applying for an International Professional Program, you will be expected to apply as a new applicant for the next available intake.
If you decide to no longer pursue the program after your application is submitted, your term deposits are non-refundable. As such, we strongly encourage you to review our programs thoroughly prior to submitting the application and the term deposits. Your application will not be reviewed until the term deposits are received.
Students cannot apply for Term 2 or Term 3 starts. Our terms are not independent from each other, and students must take the terms sequentially.
