TI 0990 - Artificial Intelligence Literacy Series (for instructors)
Course Description
This three-part online workshop series, intended for University of Calgary faculty, post-doctoral scholars, and graduate students, provides a practical foundation for understanding and integrating artificial intelligence into your teaching practice. Beginning with a myth-busting and foundational knowledge workshop, the series progresses with an ethical considerations and academic integrity challenges discussion, culminating in a session with hands-on experience using specific AI tools. Designed for faculty at all levels of artificial intelligence familiarity, these workshops offer a safe, supportive environment to explore AI's role in higher education without requiring major course redesigns or technical expertise.
This workshop series has three sessions, we encourage participants to attend all three sessions to gain the full benefit.
All sessions will be delivered online through Zoom from 12-1 p.m.
