Course Description

This is an application to acquire an invitation letter for EAP 200: Academic Communication Certificate.

The invitation letter can be used to apply for conditional admission to an applicable UCalgary degree program, it cannot be used to apply for a study permit. Upon receipt of a conditional offer, students can register in EAP 200: Academic Communication Certificate (ACC) and any required Semester Program levels. After registration in the English Language Program, students will receive a letter of admission which can be used to apply for a study permit.

Application Process:

  1. Register in EAP 099
  2. Receive invitation letter
  3. Apply for UCalgary undergraduate degree program
  4. Receive UCalgary undergraduate degree program conditional letter of admission
  5. Register in ACC (EAP 200 PAL-Eligible section) and/or Semester Program level 5 and/or 6 (ESL 100 PAL-Eligible section)
  6. Receive English Language Program letter of admission
  7. Apply for study permit
