FSW 146 - Using Solution Focused Principles in Everyday Interactions
Course Description
Solution-focused approaches and resource-based applications are practical interventions that can be applied across a variety of patient populations and practice settings in health care. This Grand Rounds will focus on the benefits of expanding our thinking about clinical interventions and interactions at work and in everyday life. Key principles regarding solution focused and resource- based thinking will be offered including the demonstration of practical approaches that can be used as everyday solutions in all of our interactions.
Course Details
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will
1. Understand the principles of solution focused/resource-based approaches
2. Describe the benefits of a solution focused/resource-based approach
3. Incorporate these approaches in direct practice with clients and everyday interactions
