Course Description

Improve your English skills and visit some of Western Canada’s top travel destinations. The activity program is made up of information meetings and guided excursions to points of cultural and social interest in and around Calgary.

Prerequisites

  • Students must be 18 years or older*
  • Students must be registered concurrently in ESL 100 or EAP 200 (For EAP 200, students are responsible for checking their course schedules and ensuring there are no schedule conflicts before registering into the activity program).

Guaranteed spot for the 5 trips. The fee covers transportation, admission fees, accommodation (overnight trips), and equipment rental and lift tickets (ski/snowboard trips).

Note:

  • $250 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please see esl.ucalgary.ca for our refund policy. 
  • Dates and destinations, subject to change.
  • An activity waiver must be signed prior to the first activity.

Activity fees with deposit:

Withdraw 15 or more days before start date (Apr 22) 

Your full tuition less deposits will be refunded     

Withdraw 2-14 days before activity date (Apr 22)

= 50% of the activity fee will be refunded

Withdraw 24 hours before activity date (Apr 22) 

= No refund
