Course Description

This conversational course is for students with little or no background in Ukrainian. It focuses on oral communication while developing basic reading, listening and writing skills. You will learn useful phrases and basic grammar to be able to carry very simple conversations in Ukrainian.

Course Details

By completion of this course, successful students will be able to:

  • Introduce yourself and use greetings and farewells
  • Use numbers
  • Talk about family and pastimes
  • Talk about days of the week, dates and weather
  • Create a short story using the target vocabulary
  • Have a better understanding of the Ukrainian culture
