TI 0932 - Blitz: Blended and Online Large Enrolment Classes

Course Description

Each session in this BOWS Blitz focuses on a deliberate approach to delivering large enrolment course in blended and online contexts. Whether participants attend one, some, or all of the workshops, they will take away practical strategies that they can apply in their current and future teaching practice. In this blitz series about large enrolment courses, offered over the lunch hour.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in panel discussions about: 

• effective communication techniques that increase instructor presence in large blended and online courses (January 11,2023)
• active engagement strategies that enhance student participation in a large blended and online learning environment (January 18, 2023) 
• practical considerations for assessments that support equitable learning in a large blended and online enrolment course (January 25, 2023)
