Course Description

Student engagement leads to student learning. This interactive workshop will discuss how to plan lessons in Zoom with the purpose of enhancing student learning experiences in the online and blended environment. We will explore a variety of facilitation strategies to transform this virtual learning into an active learning space ensuring that lesson objectives are met and students are engaged.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize how Zoom sessions can be designed to achieve lesson objectives and engage students
  • Select facilitation strategies that promote interaction and learning during Zoom session
  • Plan interactive Zoom session techniques that could be implemented in your teaching context
