Course Description
Do you ever wonder why some students need accommodations in the classroom and for exams? This workshop will explain how the brains of students with learning disabilities (LD) and ADHD differ from their peers and how those differences impact their learning.
At the end of this workshop, attendees will have an introductory understanding of:
- what learning disability and ADHD are,
- how brain differences affect how students with LD and ADHD learn, and
- why they need accommodations in post-secondary.
