Course Description

Are you in the middle of a curriculum review, looking ahead to an upcoming curriculum review, or just generally interested in curriculum questions?  You are all welcome! The Curriculum Review series includes three interactive sessions that provide practical information and engaging activities to help get your curriculum review off to a great start and to keep momentum going. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the curriculum review process:

  1. Curriculum mapping
  2. Analysing mapping data
  3. Action plan and final report

Once you have the courses in your program mapped, it is time to have some meaningful conversations about what those maps show. In this session, we will look at examples of curriculum maps and explore strategies for leading groups of colleagues in the process of analysing this source of data. There will be time for knowledge sharing and Q&A at the end.

As you prepare to translate conversations about data and guiding questions into actionable next steps, this session will provide some examples and strategies for writing an effective action plan. We will also look at past curriculum review reports and discuss which strategies work best for your context. There will be time for knowledge sharing and Q&A at the end.
