TI 0738 - PURE Skills Exploration Workshop

Course Description

An abstract is more than just a summary of research; it's a first impression, and it needs to be a good one. In this Skills Exploration workshop focussed on preparing for the PURE Final Assignment, students will learn the critical components of a compelling abstract, written and/or graphical, that effectively communicates the research process and findings. Students will also have the opportunity to explore the research skills they have cultivated during PURE and identify skills to improve on or begin developing. 

Learning Outcomes

1. Clarify the expectations for the PURE Final Assignment
2. Develop the foundational knowledge to begin creating a written or graphical research abstract 
3. Explore and identify skill development in collaboration with other undergraduate researchers
