ICT 717 - Agile Practice in IT Project Management
Course Description
Learn how to effectively manage an agile project from start to finish using the Project Management Institute Agile Practice as a guide. Explore the agile practices, processes, tools and techniques, for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner designation (PMI-ACP)®.
This is not an introductory course and does not have prerequisites, however students must have previous knowledge of agile methodologies, software development and project management.

Course Learning Outcomes
By completion of this course, successful students will be able to:
- Compare the Domains and Tasks for PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) against different agile practices
- Evaluate different agile methodologies to adaptively plan as a project moves through the life cycle
- Manage agile practices which include different approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP
Proficiencies
This course does not have prerequisites, students must however have previous knowledge of project management and software development. If you are not familiar with this, we strongly recommend taking the following courses prior to taking the Agile Practice in IT Project Management course:
