Gain an overview of initial learnings from the University of Calgary’s first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on concussion. Insights from the preliminary data analysis for this first offering of the course will be shared, including discussion of:
- What participants learned and how they perceived their MOOC learning experience

- Potential opportunities for improvement
Dr. Stephanie Adams is the Research Associate for the MOOC on Concussion. Stephanie was recently awarded her PhD in the area of concussion education, which included developing, delivering, and evaluating the first educational intervention on concussion for motor sports (e.g., F1, rally). Stephanie also works with the University of Edinburgh, where she is a Research Associate for the DataFit education project in Schools & leads the concussion think tank group.
