Course Description
The University of Calgary Teaching Awards Program recognizes the many outstanding contributions that faculty and staff across the academic community make to enriching the quality and breadth of student learning. Representing one of the most comprehensive teaching awards programs in Canada, recipients of this prestigious institutional Teaching Award are selected through a formal adjudication process, based on evidence presented in a nomination package, including a nomination letter, and a nomination dossier.
The nomination letter provides an important foundation for each nomination package. This session is designed specifically for those preparing or wanting to learn more about preparing an effective nomination letter for the University of Calgary Teaching Awards program. It will provide an opportunity for participants to review and discuss the process of preparing a strong nomination letter.
