Participants will be invited to consider their teaching and learning context and to critically explore social responsibilities in SOTL, teacher/student identities as well as general and discipline-specific teaching and learning scholarship. Using the University of Calgary Teaching and Learning Grants framework and criteria, participants will develop a scholarly inquiry project proposal based on a question meaningful to both their own and/or broader societal context. In addition, rigorous scholarly inquiry will be supported as participants give and receive structured feedback on each other’s proposals.
