Course Description

Enrichissez votre vocabulaire par l’étude de textes variés tout en continuant à améliorer votre grammaire. À la fin du cours, l’étudiant pourra s’exprimer de façon fluide sur une variété de sujets et pourra discuter de concepts abstraits sans chercher ses mots.

The curriculum of this level focuses on the study of a variety of texts which will help expand your vocabulary and master the more difficult grammar rules. At the end of the course, you will be able to express yourself fluently on a variety of topics and discuss abstract concepts without hunting for words.

Course Details

Après avoir complété ce cours, les étudiants pourront:

  • Faire des hypothèses (futur/conditionnel)
  • Utiliser correctement le subjonctif
  • Utiliser correctement les pronoms relatifs et les pronoms personnels
  • Mieux lire et rédiger différents types de textes écrits
  • Mieux communiquer à l'écrit et à l'oral, en respectant les conventions de genre (type de texte et d'interaction) et de registre (langue familière, standard, soutenue)

Notes

Effective 2021, all students in this course are formally assessed with a letter grade. Those who do not wish to be assessed can apply for course audit.

French is spoken in all classes, even at the beginner level.
