Course Description

Becoming a stronger learner starts with thinking about how we think. Join us for a 1-hour workshop designed to help you equip your students with essential metacognition and problem-solving skills to enhance their learning and decision-making.

We’ll explore why these skills are critical for academic and professional success and introduce the Future Skills modules—flexible, easy-to-integrate resources for your course. You’ll get an inside look at the Metacognition & Problem-Solving modules, with practical strategies you can apply right away.

Hear from a Steven Paget from the Haskayne School of Business who has successfully implemented the Problem-Solving module, sharing insights and student feedback. We’ll conclude with an interactive Q&A, where you can ask questions, share ideas, and walk away with actionable strategies to help students think critically, assess their learning, and tackle challenges more effectively.
