Course Description

Join us for an interactive workshop to find out what is new with the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, commonly known as the APA manual. This session will focus on changes between the 6th and 7th editions and will have a practical focus on how to support students and others learning the citing and referencing guidelines provided in the updated edition.
 
By the end of this interactive workshop, you will be able to: 
  • Describe the major differences between the 6th and 7th editions of the APA manual
  • Explore how to demystify APA standards for students
  • Explain how to set clear teaching and learning expectations for students around citing and referencing
  • Engage in discussion about how to build a culture of integrity broadly in teaching and learning
