Course Description

Faculty and staff are often excited about implementing Experiential Learning into their courses and programs but feel daunted by the task of critical reflection, an essential element for quality EL. In this session participants will be introduced to the basics of critical reflection, why it is an essential part of the experiential learning activity and how students can translate skills they learn in one activity to other learning opportunities through critical reflection assignments. Review examples of critical reflection assignments and create your own critical reflection assignment that complements current or future EL activities happening in your programs and courses.
