Course Description

One common area of concern for faculty and staff regarding the implementation of experiential learning (EL) and in turn, critical reflection, is the question of assessment. In this session, participants will be introduced to the basics of authentic assessment, and how it can be used to discern depth of student learning as well as provide constructive feedback that when integrated by students can improve future performance. Participants will review critical reflection rubrics and will be encouraged to think about how they would assess critical reflection for current and future EL activities.
