Courses Included

1. Learning and Building with Generative AI
   Learn how generative AI works, what it can do, and how to apply it to real-world problems. Understand large language models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and responsible AI practices.

2. AI-Powered Web Development
   Build an interactive web application using no-code platforms. Learn how to connect APIs, use live data, and integrate payment systems, all without writing code.

3. Building Software with NoCode and GenAI
   Combine the power of AI and no-code tools to design systems that can operate intelligently and independently. Learn to use token limits, structured outputs, vertical AI tools, and build autonomous workflows.

Program Structure

• Format: Online

• Pace: Asynchronous with optional live sessions

• Time commitment: 3 to 5 hours per week per course

• Completion time: Complete all three courses in under 12 months

• Credential: Earn a University of Calgary microcredential

Admission and Registration

There are no formal admission requirements. You can register for one course at a time or complete all three to earn the full microcredential.

To register, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Have access to a computer and internet connection

• Have basic digital literacy and an interest in innovation

• English language proficiency is expected

Program Cost

The total estimated cost for the program is approximately $1,785 CAD. Tuition is paid per course and may vary slightly depending on registration timing.

Graduation Requirements

To earn the microcredential, learners must complete all three courses and submit final projects. Microcredentials are issued in the quarter following program completion.
