Emergency health insurance for international students
All students in the International Professional Programs, Calgary International Summer Program and English Language Program (under 65 years of age) are provided with emergency health insurance. Only students who have paid tuition fees in full for the term will be insured — it is your responsibility to ensure that your financial record is in good standing. You will receive an insurance card by email within two days of the program start date. You are insured from the first day to the last day of your program through our current provider Guard.Me. You can purchase additional insurance before and after a program and between programs. To help with your planning for any current medications and conditions (if applicable), we strongly encourage you to review the coverage information included.
Please contact ce.international@ucalgary.ca (International Professional Programs) or esl@ucalgary.ca (Calgary International Summer Program and English Language Program) for more details.
