Students are spending considerable more time in D2l courses, from accessing content, engaging in discussions and posting their assignments. For online and blended courses, the D2L course becomes the main hub for information and interactions. This workshop provides practical strategies to create an inclusive D2L course that meets the needs of a diverse range of students to foster a supportive learning environment.
By the end of this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Identify challenges students face interacting with the D2L platform,
- Consider choices we can make to mitigate or address the challenges, and
- Recognize D2L as an active site of student engagement and learning.
