Course Description

Improve your English skills and visit some of Western Canada’s top travel destinations. The activity program is made up of information meetings and guided excursions to points of cultural and social interest in and around Calgary. The activity package includes overnight trip(s) and day trip(s). Please see course sections for more details. 

You can register for individual activities (ESL 103) of your choice, or opt for the Intensive Activity Package (ESL 113) to enjoy savings on major excursions.

Early Bird Fee: $450 (if registration received before April 11th, 2026) 

Regular Fee: $500

Registration Deadline: May 11th, 2026

Notes: 

  • The $250 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • An activity waiver must be signed prior to the trips.
  • Rooms are randomly assigned based on gender for the Overnight Trip.  
  • Activity dates and locations are subject to change. 

Refund policy for activities with deposit:

  • Withdraw 15 or more days before start date (i.e. May 11th, 2026) 

    Your full tuition less deposits will be refunded     

  • Withdraw 2-14 days before activity date (i.e. May 11th, 2026) 

    = 50% of the activity fee will be refunded

  • Withdraw 24 hours before activity date (i.e. May 11th, 2026) 

    = No refund
