Course Description

London: The City of Shakespeare, Churchill, Queen Elizabeth I and II, Charles Dickens, and Jack the Ripper. Brussels: The City of Royal Palaces, the seat of the European Parliament, and a museum dedicated to chocolate. Paris: The City of Light, fine food, delectable wine, and great art.

Join us on a modern-day grand tour of three of Europe's most fascinating cities. We'll stroll London's revived Bankside, visiting Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Southwark Cathedral, and the Tate Modern Gallery. We'll spend four days in London, visiting historic sites and soaking up British culture. Then we'll whiz off to Brussels on the Eurostar train at speeds over 180 miles per hour. We'll enjoy Belgian culture for four days—palaces, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, and museums steeped in the history and taste of chocolate and beer. We'll dine on fine Belgian cuisine. Back to Paris and four more days of food, wine, and culture. We'll visit the Louvre, the Picasso Museum, and the Orsay as well as Parisian street markets, bakeries, and bistros. We'll walk the Champs Élysées and ride the elevator up the Eiffel Tower.
