This course aims at discovering the history and legacy of a global struggle of unprecedented proportions, a total war that changed the world forever. Students will learn about political, military, social, and technological aspects of WWII leading them through the main events of the war in a chronological manner. Important leaders and participants, major battles and campaigns, various tactics and weapons, and military innovations will be identified in order to grasp the nature of this conflict.
