Course Description

Permaculture is a holistic design approach that addresses modern sustainability challenges on the local and global scale. This course examines the foundations of permaculture while offering insights into the ethics and principles that guide sustainable design in your own backyard…and beyond! Topics covered include the history of permaculture, permaculture ethics and principles, relationships and patterns in nature, tools and techniques for permaculture design, local permaculture initiatives. This course is for anyone looking to design sustainable landscapes, improve gardening yields or simply has a desire to learn more about permaculture.
