Discover the beauty and adventure on the less-travelled Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and Panama. This exciting trip is a ‘best of’ tour through the rainforests, beaches, rivers, and ocean in one of the most spectacular and biodiverse areas of the world. You’ll explore four national parks, three different types or rainforest, see two volcanoes, and find yourself on one of the largest sea turtle nesting grounds in the world.
You will be travelling a highlight filled loop starting in Arenal, making the journey to Tortuguero, down to Bocas del Toro in Panama, up to Cahuita, and finally to the world-renown Pacuare River. Each destination has been selected to offer you the most adventure and greatest natural experiences possible. You will kayak through jungle canals, whitewater raft, snorkel, surf, hike, and see plenty of wildlife. Along the way you will experience the relaxed Caribbean culture found on the eastern coast of Costa Rica and Panama, and discover the joy of feeling immersed in the type of adventure only nature can offer.

Nick Martin is a certified member of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (TRCI), an Active member of the Canadian Avalanche Association, and both a canoe and kayak instructor with Paddle Canada. Nick has also worked as a caving guide and is highly trained in wilderness first aid and swift water rescue. Nick is an accomplished instructor and trainer for the University of Calgary climbing program, and has been with the university Outdoor Centre since 2012.
