Course Description
Take a guided tour of the complex world of finance. We will look at the academics behind the markets – what makes markets behave the way they do and what determines the value of securities. Topics covered include: financial objectives of various participants in the financial arena, financial methodologies of stock valuation, effect of crowd psychology on stock prices, and risk and return trade-off in building an efficient portfolio in a free market framework. Information presented in this course will help you to recognize stocks that have good value, to understand market behaviour, and to limit your investment risks.
