ADL 239 - Train the Trainer 2
Course Description
In this Level 2 workshop, build and enhance your skills as a trainer in a face-to-face learning environment. Explore the major steps in designing an effective training program, learn how to align learning activities with learning outcomes and develop your skills in evaluating training effectiveness. In addition, chart your progress through verbal and written feedback from other students and the instructor.
Course Details
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the purpose of learning outcomes and how they are linked to course evaluation
- Design and develop a dynamic training course or program
- Assess which learning activity is the best fit for a learning outcome
- Define positive and negative elements of training styles
- Encourage learner responses and engagement
- Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a training program
- Describe how to manage classroom disruptions
- List the major steps in recruiting effective trainers
